Quality Improvement Plan

As part of the provision of MUR services, the Pharmacy Council requires pharmacists to hold and undertake a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) for the pharmacy. This helps to identify areas for improvement and maintains the quality of the service. Feedback from service participants is crucial to understanding whether the MUR service is meeting patients/GPs/referrers needs and if the service is achieving its goals. 

To get you started the MMS team have developed the following documents to assist you to complete your own QIP. Please adapt them to reflect your pharmacy service and procedures. Note the letters of introduction maybe sent with the feedback forms to explain and invite a response to the QIP.
